Imagine you are going about your day when suddenly your head feels strange. Information comes to you, you know things that you didn't a moment before, things about what is about to happen. Soon humanity will be different. People will from now on go through a second puberty in their early twenties during which men will grow breasts and gain a whole female reproductive system in addition to their existing male one. Women will grow a functional penis while keeping their vagina. People's sexuality will change during their second puberty to make them attracted to the new version of their preferred gender. In a short while your body will change to be the one you would have had if the second puberty had always existed. Your clothes will not adjust, your past won't change, just your body. It will only take a minute or so.
How will you cope with new urges, sexual preferences, and the changes to everyone around you?

I wrote a story, it's not the same setting as the World Turns, but it's similar. First person, a guy wakes up in a an alternate reality where things have always worked the way they do after the change in World Turns. I think it turned out really well.
If you like this story you may also like Honest Discussion. It's a lot slower and only gets to the same kind of changes that happen in World Turns near the end of what I have written. It came first, World Turns came about because I wanted to write the same premise with slightly older characters. Honest Discussion originates from Fiction Branches, and branches off from a place with established characters.
I generated images of most of the major characters, with varying degress of success. For Mary I put in the attributes I wanted her to have and then just hit generate until it spat out something that looked right to me, same for Sam. Sam is Asian entirely because I liked the image it spat out and she happened to be Asian in that one, I think Mary's hair happened the same way.
It took a long time for me to figure out how to get the AI to output an image for Chirs and Samuel where their shirt didn't look like it was suctioned onto their boobs, basically I just had to inpaint the area under their bust, but just prompt with "plain t-shirt", no mention of boobs. It fills it in in a much more realistic way that way. For some reason this wasn't an issue with the women.
I finally have a Chris that I'm mostly happy with, still some minor issues with how his shirt sits and his boobs are a little more asymetrical than I'd like, but this is mostly right. It has the slightly wider hips, the bust is pretty much as big as it should be and it looks like he isn't wearing a bra. This would be what he looked like right after the change. The other issue is it's blurry for some reason.
Surprisingly the hard part about getting a good Brianna was the skirt legth and getting her boobs not to be too big, I think that has to do with the models I was using though.
There's something funky about her arms in the first one. In the second image her skirt is a bit short, but I think it's a pretty good Brianna, it even mostly matches what she was wearing at the café.
I found a new AI tool that makes inpainting a bit easier to use, and doesn't use Stable Diffusion for it, so I actually get something back when I ask it it inpaint a bulge, so notice that both of these versions of Mary
Mary went from to nerdy and awkward to be popular to well not super popular, but popular with the guys when puberty hit. Brie's insecurity about her bust is at least partially due to seeing how the way her peers react to Mary changed when her bust and curves filled out.
Sam is Chris's friend. She was pretty easy, but it took a fair number of attempts before the AI spat out something that looked like Sam to me.
Samuel is going to be a guy Sam meets and hits it off with, they end up dating, his name is mostly because I think it's kind of amusing for it to be so simalar to Sam. He got hit by the change a lot like the way Chris did, huge boobs, but Samuel got much wider hips than Chris.
I really like how this image came out, he has the boobs and hips I wanted and still manages to look masculine. Though he has a bit more hourglass than he should. His torso should be more of a trapazoid above where his hips start. The only thing wrong with it is how his shirt is basically stuck to the bottom of his boobs and stays that way all the way around them as they curve back up and meet his chest. A t-shirt wouldn't really do that unless you go out of your way to make it. Samuel wouldn't do that. If I ever figure out how to get an image without that I'll have to make a new version of this and Chris. I figured out how to fix the shirts!
This is meant to be pretty much how he showed up to his first date with Sam.
This one is pretty good, but I wanted his shirt be like this woman's, except with the shirt done up above his bust. I just couldn't get the AI to do it. I'm also not happy with the haircut.
I like the way the shirt hangs below his boobs in this one, still not right, since it's still tucked in. (These are supposed to be how he looks shortly after the change, so his male clothes that don't fit properly. Getting AI to make that is hard)
